Balboa Park San Diego Couples Session

This Balboa Park couples session in the heart of San Diego features the iconic park that is such a staple location for photographers. It’s a favorite because it has such a variety of “backdrops” within a short walking distance.

I’m always thrilled when past couples reach out to work with me again, it makes feel so warm and appreciated!! I loved working with Victoria and Garret last year for their engagement photos, so when she reached out again and mentioned how they wanted a “just for fun session” I was over the moon!

Originally we had mentioned heading to the mountains, but after some thought, they realized with their upcoming out of state move, that they wanted a location more in the heart of San Diego, and so of course what better place than Balboa.

I will say, that the best time to shoot in Balboa Park is on a weekday, in order to avoid the high flowing traffic and (lots of other photoshoots that take place there).
